Short for any one over 8 1/2

I take an 8 1/2 medium shoe and these are short except for my slim profile ballet flat type shoes. For a loafer there is a 1/4 inch gap at the heel. Beware if you are a larger shoe size. They seem well made and are comfortable thus far. The toe area will stretch as long as you can get your toes in. They are very low profile at the toe.
