I needed this tool to cut round holes in the aluminum canopy batten ceiling to fit 3" vents. Browsing through all the hardware stores in the area I couldn't find this size and if I did I had to get other sizes that I didn't need or it was significantly more expensive than this product. For my one time job of cutting about 24 holes it was perfect and inexpensive. For a one time job it should suit your needs, if you plan to use it every day you can choose one of the more expensive ones or buy several of them. Hope this is helpful.
