Review on SuperATV Black Ops 4500 Lb Winch Kit For UTV/ATV - Complete With Waterproof Seals, Solenoid, 1.3 HP Motor, And 166:1 Gear Ratio by Troy Coste

The instructions are vague/incomplete, but I think I'm a fairly capable person, and I have youtube, so I gave it a go. I first attempted the mounting bracket. It didn't fit. I checked if the inventory was wrong, nope - ok, so what happened? I looked at the amazon page and below where it says "This item fits your vehicle" there was a disclaimer that I'll need to buy a different mounting bracket. Ok - that doesn't seem to agree with "this item fits your vehicle" but ok, I'll share the blame for that. On to the next thing - put the switch on the dash, that went ok, but a template for cutting the hole sure would of been nice. Next - install the solenoid box. Turns out the supplied hardware doesn't fit in the solenoid box holes. Ok, I have spare hardware - but nothing that fits through the hole and in the spot below the reservoir where the SuperATV instructional video shows me to put it. ok, so ream the holes so the hardware will fit through the solenoid box hole - now I get one screw installed but the spacing is off on the other (should be 4 holes, but there's only 2 and the 2 don't line up with anything). I gave up at this point and requested a refund. They want me to pay the shipping to send it back. I will not buy from this vendor again and will be making a complaint with Ebay.
