Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Ultimate SRAM Pro Brake Bleed Kit: Achieve Optimal Braking Performance with Ease by Scott Ward

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything you need and probably a lot you don't need plus some spare o-rings and gaskets

Received last week. I used it to bleed the brakes over the weekend. Check out the SRAM video on YouTube and it's really easy. Two syringes Three adapters (2 threaded, 1 bleed) Two reversible Torx wrenches with 4 different sizes Numerous bleed blocks for calipers Guide R uses a standard Avid bleed block, not the "last" block listed in the SRAM manual/leading Edge video is shown. Match the block to the pillow shape and you're done. It is very easy to fill syringes, deflate, reattach, and then flush fluid through the system to replace old fluid and remove air bubbles. When I bought my bike last year, it was already assembled and set up. I didn't think much about the long press on the brake lever. After a friend test rode my bike and complained about it, I decided to buy one and run it. A lot of air came out of the system. The brake levers are much stiffer with less travel. I'm glad I bought this as it's a simple and essential maintenance of a basic bike safety item.
