This is a good product and as far as I can tell it works just as well as Epson cartridges. I had an Epson firmware update that caused the printer not to recognize the cartridges and had to run to the Epson shop. The company provided replacements free of charge so I'll use those but keep an Epson set handy just in case. I have read that printer manufacturers sell products at a marginal or even loss to profit from ink sales. So it's not surprising that a firmware update also temporarily disables cartridge clones.
