Pros: Compact, durable build quality (if you step on it you'll be fine) and comes with everything you need to get started. Cons: God, those low speeds are unforgivable! 43MB/s read and 39MB/s write. Are you kidding me? Why so many positive reviews?! If all you care about is aesthetics, this will definitely pass. Small, light, durable. potentially perfect. I've included images of my Crystal Disk Mark speeds and two other images to show what the drive is capable of, along with its big brother, the PCIe version. Since the first speed test was so ridiculously low at 43MB/s, I double-checked. USB C 3.1 on the back of my Ryzen-based desktop. Speeds are slower! Literally halved at a speed of 23.5MB/s. This 250GB WD Blue M.2 SSD can read at least 440MB and write over 300, so I'm not even close to where I should be . Disappointed. Finally, if you're looking for homemade fast storage, grab a UGreen USB 3.0 external enclosure and any SSD and expect much faster speeds. Check out these speeds and a UGreen drive is half the price! I would recommend this drive based on performance. If you have M.2 lying around, it's better than nothing. but not much. If you value speed, stay away from this hull!
