Instructions might help

Pro: Sturdy, would probably be attractive if I could assemble it. I am pretty sure the "instructions" were included just to baffle the user. Drawings were unclear, with cute little pointy fingers which one might conclude were there to call your attention, but to WHAT? If there is a right way and a wrong way or maybe several wrong way for a part to be assembled, you might want to tell one. trial and error is loaded with plenty of the latter.Like stated, if you have a yen to mess with the things for days, could be a really sturdy, nice looking gate. At least I think so. I will never know. At eighty, I have no more time or patience for it.

While the concept is good, the engineering is off base. All the weight is loaded on the 3 Corner Ells on the hinge side. Since the Corner Ells are castings and not machined fitted and bolted there is clearance issues and this allows the gate to sag. The support from Xcel was good but the gate design needs work. Xcel is sending me a cable brace but that is a bandaid and not a fix. The fence sections are great and the instructions and support were good.
