I received the kit and can confirm the packaging is first class. Well packed. I took my time opening all the boxes and making sure the full inventory list was included. Having confirmed this, I went ahead and checked the connections first, as many have stated before in these reviews. What I will add is this. Maybe just disconnect all connections one by one and try again to make sure they are connected. You can easily remove the filters from the holders. Facilitates reconnection. Sometimes you may need to remove the connector from the filter to get enough tubing to insert. After all the connections are done, check the fit. I would go ahead and mark where the check valve would be. I wouldn't plug it in until you put it back in place. I attached my power supply for the lighting kit to the back of the case using the screws that came with it. From the moment the installation is completed to the moment you can drink water from it, it takes about 16 hours. 1 30-minute flush, 3 fills and drains of the tank for 2-3 hours and do not disturb the last 8 hours. My tap water went from 209ppm to 50ppm. The pH increased from 7.5 to 10.0.
