Installed many generators. These devices look like new. The one I installed in my sons Ford Windstar died weeks if not days after installation. I installed a new battery and battery cables. I contacted Revain for an RMA who sent me to DB Electrical. They advised me to go through them since I bought it through Revain. I wrote several emails to both parties and the new generator appeared in the email with no further explanation. After installing the second generator, my son's driving license was suspended for a while, so we only tested a few of him. A few months later we wanted to start the van and there was no battery charge. I checked the battery and found it wasn't fully charged so I returned it for a new one. After about 1/2 hour of driving the battery light came on and told me the battery was no longer reading 12v (This is usually due to the alternator not doing its job or a loose connection). Cables, connectors, battery and alternator. Everything seemed fine, so I charged the battery for about 14 hours. My son drove the van to run some errands and told me he could barely make it home because he was losing energy. In fact, the alternator did not recharge the battery. I am currently trying to get another alternator from DB Electric or Revain or to get my money back from a trusted source.
