Review on AMD FX-8320E FX-Series 8-Core Black Edition Processor by Micha Skolimowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

first impressions: I have been using it for 2 days, that's what I managed to find out when I got home I put ASUS M5A97 R 2.0 + 8 gig of RAM CORSAIR LP 1600 MHz on the mother quickly set everything in the BIOS turned off all the energy saving functions not for this I bought it but in order to worked, made all processor cores active i. E. 8. I removed auto connection of 4 cores. so far everything is fine in terms of stability. 5 3470/ and now, for the sake of experiment, I decided to install a completely AMD platform to see for myself (destroy the myth) that AMD is and Intel is not good, by the way, my video card is HD7870 from Gigabyte 1100 MHz and here are the results: with SSD VERTEX 4 128 Gb it works like this -as responsive as Intel, the difference is not visible at all and the system boot speed did not suffer. All the same 8 sec. gaming tests: where the weak point was the video card, there the FPS remained at the same level, but FAR EDGE 3 surprised at ultra settings 1920 * 1080 with 4-fold smoothing, the FPS remained at the same level, but the drawdowns became smaller and something added smoothness. In the metro last light, nothing has changed 50-60 without SSAQ. in games and everywhere FX 8320-8350 or on a par with them, I was convinced from my own experience that AMD surpes them with an AMD video card, I don’t know how Intel with NVIDIA, but the output of such an AMD should work with AMD! By the way, without overclocking, the WINDOWS 7 X64 SP 1 performance index is 7.7. at 4.5 GHz already 7.8. draw conclusions. without overclocking, the temperature is 15! degrees under the ZALMAN CNPS10X Optima cooler under 100% load barely reaches 40 degrees. I became an AMD fan! it always makes me laugh when reviews and some write reviews here that the video card rests on processor performance, but how SLI and CROSFIRE do not rest anywhere, it is when the percentage is loaded at 100% and does not cope with the video card. this stock processor has a lot loaded in a crisis 3 is 55-60%.

Pros
  • copes with all tasks with a bang that video encoding that games are super percent for ridiculous money with a large margin for the future
Cons
  • only power consumption is 125 watts, and even then it’s not always loaded with 100%
