Worked great for my Boats app
Of course this may not work for all apps but thought it might be worth a try for a few bucks. I'm glad I did. I installed it on my center console boat to replace the stock single wire antenna. Place it in the handlebars (as high as possible and wrap up any excess length on the sides. This made a HUGE difference in reception - both in quantity and quality. Initially I was thinking of some sort of powered antenna or worst case scenario an external antenna (Definitely not my preference) but I am pleased with the improved performance of this simple but effective antenna.
