Perfect! connected to the back of the stereo and stretched along the underside of the cabinets/deck. Used on a sailboat. Works great to get FM reception.

On this antenna, the antenna connector has been replaced with a small frayed wire. On my AM reception on the lake it didn't seem to make a difference - that's what I was hoping for. By the way, FM worked well.

I used this for better reception on my hot tub radio. Worked great. I could only get 2 to 3 radios and some are very static. Now all my channels stream nice and clear! It was in my new Marquis hot tub.

Of course this may not work for all apps but thought it might be worth a try for a few bucks. I'm glad I did. I installed it on my center console boat to replace the stock single wire antenna.
