Job done with some issues

so I bought this because I wanted to connect my PS2 to an HDTV in my room but this TV only has HDMI and Composite inputs. The composite looks terrible so I figured I could use this converter to connect my component cables to my TV's HDMI port. I first had to change the output setting from RGB to ypbpr in the PS2 settings. the picture is normal, the sound is another question. For the most part it works well, but when there's a lot of sound to be processed the converter's built-in sound processor isn't that good in my opinion. For example, in situations of intense gunfire, the sounds are distorted, like trying to play music through a crappy speaker. So if you have an external audio source, this is the best option. As the problem isn't always obvious, don't let it distract you from your purchase as it sounds fine for the most part. The other problem might just be related to my apartment, but whenever my air conditioner ejects ink, the screen flickers. I'm guessing it uses a massive amount of juice to run, so things that dim your light can cause the screen to flicker, like starting a washer or dryer. All in all I still recommend it. I'm definitely glad I have it. It does what I need, what more could you ask for? Update 7/256/19: I just found out that it's not my air conditioner that's causing the screen flickering, it's my water cooler. It's basically a 1 second flicker, big deal.
