Looks like glass on my review.

The original window dressing we got with the house was just the white metal rods. They were a little rusty in spots and had been installed with nails that were bent over and really difficult to remove from the drywall. We've been taking care of more important things like plumbing issues and just haven't gotten around decor yet. This large back door is brutal in summer due to the amount of heat it lets in and in winter it lets in a lot of cold, especially around the seam. We've wanted something that would go with the current kitchen lighting we have and something that would be sturdy enough to hold blackout and insulated curtains. This really fit the bill. Our central hanging light looks a lot like this with diamond-shaped glass panels. We have matte bronze fixtures so the rod was perfectly matched too. Once it was installed, with the curtains we picked out, it's very sturdy even stretching across both doors. The curtains fully cover extending over the wood frames, so if you need something for sliding glass doors, this would work really well. After a week of looking at it on my wall, I love it. I'm really happy that we waited to find something we really liked a lot!
