Review on Auto Ventshade [AVS] Hood Shield / Bug Shield High Profile Chrome, 1 Pc 680124 Fits 2007 - 2017 Ford Expedition/Expedition XL by Raffy Baer

My 2007 Expedition EL has the dreaded paint loss on the edge of the hood and the rear gate. This bolt-on hoodflector covers all that lost paint on the hood. If this would have been on there earlier in the truck's life, maybe the paint would have stayed? Anyways, it comes with 4 plastic fasteners that you push in and then thread in with a screwdriver. I questioned how well they would work when I pulled it out of the box, but they hold it on there very well. It doesn't budge at all. I like how it fastens on, but is removable if you need it to be. The other model adheres directly to the hood, which seems permanent to me. It has 4 rubber bumpers that you stick to the hood to protect from too much deflection. It makes my hood look 100% better. My truck is a dark grey, so the smoked acrylic accents the vehicle very nicely.
