Bought 2 months ago to replace my 2002 Ram 1500. It fits exactly like the original part however after 2 months the cap comes off while driving. . At first I thought it was my fault for not removing the cap because when I stopped to see why the temp gauge was so high the cap was next to the battery. A little crazy, I thought, putting my hat back on. The second time I drove slowly and heard a faint knock under the hood. I was so sure it wasn't the cap that had come off that I didn't check until I got home 5 minutes later. There was no cover anywhere this time, just a heap of steam and hot radiator fluid under the hood. Bought a new replacement radiator cap from the porter and put it on. I tried to make sure it was tight by pulling on it and to my surprise it fell off immediately. Checked that it was the correct cap from the porter and it was. Ordered a new tank with cap in a rock car today. I'll throw this away as soon as the new one arrives tomorrow.
