Finally I have a working inverter that can charge my scooter! I tried 3 different inverters, one 175W and two 300W. All have failed. I finally have this USB bad boy! and it can charge my phone pretty quickly and top up my hefty 551 watt hour battery on the go! My guess is that the battery level dropped to 12v while the scooter was under load just because the car was idling. I think if I was driving it would be up to 13/14v (as it should be unless your alternator has failed). The housing is made of durable plastic, but feels good in the hand. I used my own surge protector to demonstrate that more outlets can be used when traveling. But besides all that, it's worth it. The!
