I do frequent water changes and in the 80% range I have a 180 gallon cichlid tank and a 100 gallon globe tank. I also check my circumference often and have a little more nitrate than I like and ammonia than I like. I have two Fluval FX6s in my large tank and one FX4 in my smaller tank for filtering purposes. And even with the best filter media, I'm still getting slightly higher readings than I'd like. Adding Safe to the water has helped my fish stay healthy even with slight increases in nitrate and ammonia. so I imagine it does its job of neutralizing them 😁 it gives me peace of mind 🤗 It takes so little it will last a long time! It's worth it if you're struggling with it
