Take care of your fish! Best in Fish and Aquatic Pets

First off, it stinks. Poorly. All reviews were confusing. I don't know anyone with a 300 liter tank. I wish the instructions were more specific. The bottle only says a quarter teaspoon, some reviews warn about overdosing so I didn't want to treat 300 gallons in a 60 gallon tank. Followed the instructions, killed half my fish. I'm glad we went for 1st tank and didn't go to #2-5. It would be terrible to kill all my fish. I'll stick with what I know for now and not risk killing fish anymore.

The price has increased by over 40% in the last few months

The price of this product has increased by over 40% in the last few months. Not the same offer as before. Maybe now it's better to look for another option. Works pretty well, but don't trust the instructions. You need a highly sensitive chlorine test kit to see how much chlorine is left, especially when breaking down chloramine. It may take several full doses per day to actually neutralize the chloramine. Aquarium chlorine test kits are useless, much smaller amounts than they can test will kill

IF YOU WANT TO KILL YOUR FISH. BUY THIS!

This is the absolute worst product I have ever used in my entire life. I was immediately skeptical when I first opened it and was greeted by the rotten egg smell (which stank my whole room). I then calculate the correct dosage for my 120 gallon (1/8 teaspoon) tank. I dose my tank. less than 5 minutes as each fish lies motionless on the bottom and twitches and twitches. 1 of my red-shouldered peacocks died from it. I realized my fish was poisoned by chlorine and immediately doubled the dose of…

love this product! at Fish & Aquatic Pets

I do frequent water changes and in the 80% range I have a 180 gallon cichlid tank and a 100 gallon globe tank. I also check my circumference often and have a little more nitrate than I like and ammonia than I like. I have two Fluval FX6s in my large tank and one FX4 in my smaller tank for filtering purposes. And even with the best filter media, I'm still getting slightly higher readings than I'd like. Adding Safe to the water has helped my fish stay healthy even with slight increases in nitrate

  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Useless features

If you have multiple tanks or just want to save some money, choose Safe.

Seachem is the absolute finest line of aquarium care products. Safe is a powder form of Seachem Prime and is a much cheaper alternative. It is very easy to use and requires very little due to its concentrated formula. I've been using it on 13 tanks for more than 5 years. I even use it to quickly switch aquariums to add fish right away (not the best way to introduce fish, but sometimes necessary). The safe stores your chlorine during checkout hours. It is used as a water conditioner during water

I will not use anything else in my aquariums

This is a product that fishmongers will not want you to buy. This is the same product as Seachem Prime, only in a concentrated powder form. If you have large tanks, this is the way to go. Now I have 800 gallon tanks and do 50% water changes weekly and it has lasted a year. I suspect I will have it for several years. This question often comes up in our fish groups; "When do you add the dechlorinator?" and my answer for you while you fill it in. Once I turn the water over to pour straight into my
