Perfect fit for my "not recommended use "

I bought these pads to use while working on vehicles. Basically, if the car lifts off the ground in any way, I don't want it to roll. My use is important as I don't intend to use them to prevent rolling over hills or slopes and I don't expect to put much pressure on them. I've seen reports of people breaking them, but I've crushed fairly strong metal products with a car so abuse will destroy the products, whatever they are. Use it right and these things are great. I would also like to add that tech support does not condone their use for my purposes. I was told that they were only for the stated application. I contradict common sense. The size is ideal for most car, truck and SUV tires. Many people use small 2x4 blocks, random wooden wedges, and even small rubber, plastic, and sometimes metal wedges. Although they work as part of a 2x4, they are small compared to the tire. It's hard to be sure that a product will work the way you want it to. I have found these pads to fit the full width of many tires. I find the concept of more surface more robust. I have 4 of these pads. For example, if I lift both front wheels, I put one in front of and one behind the rear wheels. I somehow hold them together with a piece of string or elastic using the holes in the back. I don't do this to stop the rotation either way, I do it to keep the back from slipping. it is held on the other side of the hoop. If you want to lift all 4 tires they are perfect for holding one end of the car while you lift the other and then just take them off when the other end is up. I don't think they cost $10 for what I use. you for. But if you wait for a sale and then get 4-5 bucks each, buying 4 pieces is not a miserable buy to me. I would like 4, but I would like at least 2 of these things.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Not all will fit
