The Roomba 780, which had previously served for 5 years, also coped well with its task, but lately it has become difficult to navigate by beacons (maybe a malfunction has appeared in some of them), and the fuss with replacing batteries is also tired. Unless, in my opinion, he cleaned carpets with his brushes better than rubber rollers in new models. But this is just my personal observation. In this robot, as they say, everything is fine. And the time of work, and the speed of cleaning, and no unnecessary beacons, virtual walls, traffic restrictors, magnetic tapes and other things. Well, it beats against walls and furniture less, because it knows where they are. Did you spill something in the kitchen or did the guests put sand in the hallway? Not a problem, we send a robot from the phone to get out specifically in this room. Personally, I have to clean the entire apartment 2 times a week, and on other days he cleans only the hallway, because it is winter now and sand is brought home from the street, no matter how you clean your shoes. I really liked the Danger Zones feature. If you don’t want the robot to visit somewhere (a pet feeding area, a Christmas tree, a vase on the floor, etc.), just mark this place on the map as a restricted area and that’s it. In general, if you are a lover of new technology, want to get all the possible "goodies" and conveniences and do not mind paying the price of this robot, then it will definitely be a good choice. But the younger models with the main function also do a good job.
