Review on Grill Tefal Optigrill+ XL GC722D34, steel by Wiktor Barczuk ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

Hope my review helps you make your choice! Since when I was looking for information, there were only positive comments about what kind of "miracle machine" it is. In general, the model is good. Chose between bork and tefal. But the price played its decisive role. I'll start in order: 1. Plates are hard to clean. You have to go through the sponge 2-3 times with the product, then approx. Or (this is what the husband does), he takes it to the bathroom and, under a strong stream of the shower, rinses the furrows, and then with a sponge with a remedy. You will have to spend enough time to wash them. But this is true for any grill, I think so. 2. Splashes. Grease splatters in all directions. Including splashing himself. I bought universal wet wipes for the house and I wipe them. Since just a damp sponge is not convenient, but with some kind of detergent, it is even more inconvenient. 3. Very short power cord. For me it was a big surprise! 4. The fish turns out gorgeous, white meat is good, red meat is tried to cook many times and all the time the steaks turned out to be in the trash. But we mostly eat white meat and fish, so this fact is not very upsetting. 5. This is the most important point! You can cook 1 type of product at a time. (only meat, only vegetables of the same type, etc. ). And then the most fun begins: You cooked the meat, waited until the plates cool down, washed (item 1-plates to wash for a long time). Then cook the next product - again the same thing. So here I am - cooking is very simple, but it stretches for the whole day! (I usually cook 2 types of meat and vegetables). And here I return to the question of additional plates. It would be very convenient, as you save time on cooking. But they are almost impossible to buy! Found in spare parts for 3k for 1 plate. And that's in 1 place. 6. There are places on the plates where the temperature is lower than it should be. The product will, of course, be cooked, but there will be no plate pattern. And it will be a little boiled. 7. The plates are angled to allow grease to drip off. It seems convenient, but the products begin to slide down when laying. Bottom line: I'm thinking about borka!

Pros
  • Cooks fast Despite the speed of cooking, the food is very tasty despite the minimum amount of spices. delicious fish Delicious grilled vegetables Good white meat (turkey, chicken)
Cons
  • 1. It is hard to wash the plates 2. Red meat is either tough or rubbery 3. If you press on the lid (to press it more tightly), the thickness sensors begin to scratch from the inside of the plate + they are very delicate and can break 4. No additional plates available for sale 5. Very short power cord 6. There are places (middle and edges) where it cooks worse 7. If you cook vegetables, then they must be cut perfectly evenly, otherwise the strips will not be everywhere and in some places they will turn out to be boiled. (Actually only for vegetables. Everything is ok with meat)
