After reading various reviews I bought this table. The color is beautiful and even with my arthritic hands I was able to assemble it myself although it took me two hours but I managed! I didn't have to wait for one of my grandkids to come over to assemble it for me. I don't like cooking, rolling out dough, etc., so I use the rolling table as a counter. My cutting board made it heavier and a bit more stable. The brakes continue to work independently. I've finally given up using it as a kitchen gadget. I put my sewing machine on it and then tried my printer. Giving up - will keep it as I've already thrown the box away and am trying to figure out how to stabilize it so it doesn't tip over when I use it.
