I used to have a Rexing V1 and this is a step up. I already had the V1 camera hardware kit so it was easy to install by just plugging it in. I am very happy to see that the kit still works for V5. The picture quality is really good to the point where you can see other cars' license plates. The menu is easy to use and I love the fact that you can move the lens to the perfect angle. WIFI function is convenient to download videos to your phone, no computer required. There is room for improvement. Although the WIFI download function is convenient, it takes a very long time just to download a high-definition video. So long that I decide to use the computer most of the time anyway. Speaking of computers, I have a very hard time playing 4K videos. The video is skipped and progressively encrypted to the point of being unusable. If I lower the resolution, the video playback works fine. I don't know if it's because my computer can't play 4K videos or if everyone has this problem. The video software for showing your GPS data location is also very finicky. Sometimes I get GPS data and sometimes I don't. Even when playing the same file. All in all this is a very good camera and I can only recommend it.
