TLDR: Works like a charm on that hardened dirt that has set like concrete in your Weber kettle. See photo! I have a 22 inch Weber that was basically a mixture of grease and ash set on the bowl like concrete. I've tried everything from oven cleaners to smearing my elbows with dish sponges, but I couldn't even make a dent. To make matters worse, the blades on my one-touch cleaning system were bent from moving over the caked-on residue. At this point, I could no longer effectively control the temperature. Enter this scraper for the Lisle 52000 Razor Blade Scraper. I used a plastic blade first as I was still wary of damaging the finish, this helped remove a decent amount of residue. But the annoying ones remained, I switched to stainless steel blades. Holimolija, what a difference! He started shaving the residue off with a lot less effort, almost like a knife through butter (well, really hard butter). The bowl wasn't shiny before I started, but after putting the scraper to it I saw the shiny porcelain finish again. In the attached photos you can see the bowl and the residue scraped off with this scraper. My only regret is that I should have bought it sooner because I only used a plastic blade and a steel blade.
