getting it to work on my SR5. The end of the SR5 is 2 3/4 inches wide and you can add an extension to it but only with one of the washers inside. I literally installed it with a screw and a washer. I just bought a stainless steel nut (so it doesn't rust) the same diameter but the shortest I could buy (so it doesn't stick out uncomfortably), put it on the least visible side of the extension, and then used some Loctite Blue . I applied it after a car wash and it was in perfect condition. ALSO I wanted a black version but looking at the pictures the black is fading fast. Even this one has pictures of it rusting. So I sprayed transparent rustoleum enamel to protect it, I think it will last a long time, I can repaint it regularly.
