The interior filament needs to be disguised somehow.
Frankly, these are better when they aren't lit. The interior filament is very bright and shines through to catch the eye. I love the colors and design and I have mine displayed in a very modern fixture that is meant to expose the bulb and display it. It has a really pretty shape and the colors are nice.

- Not energy-efficient, so it will quickly drive up your electricity bill
