Excellent optical clarity suitable for sunglasses, goggles and reading while driving

I have used the non-magnifying version of these glasses for many years like sunglasses. Despite dropping them on the pavement many times, they were difficult to scratch, held up well on my head, and the hinges didn't loosen over time. I can't see them in my field of vision. The optical clarity is so good that I sometimes stick my fingers in the lenses, forgetting I'm wearing them when I'm trying to rub my eyes. However, I also wear them partly because of this: To avoid rubbing my eyes with my fingers: Hands on the eyes are the main carrier of viral infections. I can't wash my hands all the time. If my eyes are itchy, I can rub my eyes with the tips of my temples and keep dirty fingers away. I also wear these glasses now to reduce the amount of virus droplets that can get into my eyes. They stick well to my head. Although my previous lenses have been dropped on the pavement many times, they have withstood scratches quite well. These lenses don't have a lot of magnification, but they're great for close viewing and allow me to read the instrument cluster and instructions. without the need to wear regular reading glasses while driving and keep your eyes on the road. I also bought some clear goggles for the night. These glasses are a great alternative to reading glasses as built-in magnifiers are lower in my field of vision than reading glasses. Even small reading glasses prevent me from seeing while driving, or when I put them on my nose to see over them, my readers tend to pinch my nose and make it difficult to breathe. With these glasses I have an unobstructed view of the road and can still read the dashboard without pinching my nose or moving my head. The right hinge on both dark glasses I received had so much friction that I was afraid they might break. Luckily I was able to adjust the friction by loosening the drive shaft with a tiny Phillips head screwdriver.
