I have had this carburetor for almost two and a half years now and am happy to report that it still works perfectly! It was very easy to replace (and I've never changed a carburetor), my truck (a 1981 F250 with a 300 inline 6 engine) started as soon as the fuel pump got gas to the carb, idled nice and smooth, and the truck drove beautifully. When I bought this carb I figured that a small bet on a cheap carb would be a fun adventure and if it failed I would have an excuse to buy more expensive parts in the future and another reason to learn how to converting an old one. worn carburetors. What I've learned instead is that sometimes you can just get good parts at a great price! I cannot recommend this single cylinder carburetor. I will definitely be going this route for carbs from now on.
