4.75 stars. Needs minor modifications not related to lamination.

Note. I received this product for review and am not affiliated with the company. My wife is a teacher and you will find her unboxing and product demo videos in the box. what will you like - It's super easy to use. Product demo used for the first time. We decided to shoot a video and the first attempt was a success. It has a built in cutter so making it easy we don't have to get ours from another box. In addition, it has a corner rounder. It has 3 types of cuts: point to tear off, straight for main cuts and wavy. Snapping out works surprisingly well. It laminates very well. We laminated an 8.5 x 11 printed photo (standard paper) and cutting the edges out of the laminated paper did not result in open pockets. It was perfect. My wife was surprised at how well he was doing. - He's not too hot to touch. I was afraid I would burn the counter or burn myself. It's warm but not hot. You can use it for a while and don't worry; However, I would not leave it unattended for safety reasons. It's multifunctional. As said, it laminates, cuts (3 types), measures, miters, holds large sheets, the corner cutter is kept in the machine. It's like a Swiss army knife. Price. Yes, I got mine for review, but at $40 (after a $5 coupon) it's right in the price range in its class (13 inches). I checked and found several similar models. They are either more expensive or higher. this block.- size. At 13 inches you can get serious about laminating. What do not like. - It comes with large laminating sheets only. Although we will be using large ones, it would be nice to have different sizes. The cutter blade only seems to move from left to right Not sure why that is but it was confusing We had to smooth the cut just to pull out the paper and move the blade back to the left The setting of the cutter blade is small If you have big hands, it is tight Although I don't change it often, I worry if it can be replaced when it becomes dull. The angle cutter, while well inserted into the block, seems to struggle a bit with cutting. Nice that it only lifts a bit, but we had to apply some pressure to get a clean cut.

Pros
  • Fast heating and laminating speed
Cons
  • Some small things
