They fit my skinny 4 year old at the waist but the legs are very long. It doesn't bother me as I think he's a short guy and when the sweatpants are pulled up at the bottom it's no problem at all. I could do without the words on the side, or at least one more sentence, but that doesn't matter in sweatpants either, because you can't really read them anyway. They look cool until you actually read what they say. But that could only be me. My kid loves the bags but he mentioned they are too small. I mean he's 4 and he has to put cool things like rocks in his pockets so I think that's a big deal. The material is thick and appears to be well made. These are great sweatpants that will outlive my active kid.
