I had no problem attaching the bumpers to my cabinets. I removed the old glue with Goo Gone and then wiped the wood surface with clean (isopropyl) alcohol before gluing the bumpers on. I followed the directions and tried not to touch the glue with my fingers. Bumpers not only stick to the application surface, but also to the hemispherical contact surface. There seems to be some kind of chemical leaching out of the bumpers that makes them sticky. And I mean very sticky. The stickiness doesn't prevent drawers and doors from opening, but I've only seen that with silicone that hasn't fully cured. I also noticed that after a few days some of the bumpers started warping. They are no longer hemispherical, but slightly slanted at the sides. I may have gotten bumpers from a problematic production run as this was my first and only bumper film from this brand that I have used.
