Replaced the hood latches on my 2008 Jeep JKU with these and they have completely eliminated the hood chatter. The only modification for older Jeeps is to cut or grind down the alignment tab. So they fit perfectly. The only downside I have is that the retaining wires tend to fall forward when the hood is open. So you need to make sure they are tilted backwards before lowering or closing the hood. Other designs may not have this problem, but they are reliable and look OEM, which is exactly what I wanted. Can't beat it for $20.
