The main chrome twin body was not round and required careful handling to round it back. After getting it back into shape, I checked the filter installation and lowering the base into the main body. To my dislike, I found that the flip base doesn't fit snugly to the main body. This lets tons of hot air out of the engine bay and wipes out the snorkels, especially if you plan on using it as a quasi-ram air setup. some Home Depot self-adhesive gaskets to store the filter, attach it to the lower base, and attach the main body to the 14" filter base. It is now a dual inlet factory type.
