I crashed this thing in my off grid/solar emergency at home. Runs on 460 Ah at 12 V (4 x 6 V GC batteries). Powered by cable 2/0 2 feet long. It conforms to specification. Runs my forced air heater (high efficiency), runs my sump pumps, computers, small fridge/freezers and runs my large parallel fridge at 200A peak current. 4 stars is just a protest against GFI which can cause performance issues depending on the species you connect with the devices in your house (I ended up removing the GFI in mine) Nice economical inverter.
