I know I'm not the only guinea pig owner who has an allergic reaction to hay; So when I saw it was pressed into slices so I wouldn't go in the hay bag and have all those allergens squeezing me when I pulled it out, I jumped on it! My guinea pigs love it. It is recommended to tear them apart a bit to loosen the hay, but this may be suitable for young or old pigs. My adult piglets LOVE the challenge of finding sticky chunks of hay and pulling them out for more untangling - it's a lot of fun and not messy! Bless this product, now they need to create a bigger container of these drives, so I won't be tearing these boxes apart anytime soon! Each 3-4 inch thick slice separates easily from the stack :)
