Review on La Mia Lux Mercerized Cotton 5 Ball Pack - 8.8 Oz Total, 100% Cotton, Each 1.76 Oz (50g) / 150 Yards (164 m), Fine-Sport Orange Shade 194 by Amber Perez

This yarn is listed as a sport yarn but is lighter. I have previously used the XL version of this yarn which requires a 3.5-3.75mm hook which is a real sport yarn. They list the XL version as a 4/worsted which is not the case. This is a larger fingering weight as it is much thinner and uses a 2.5-3.25mm hook. I am currently using it with a 2.5mm hook and I don't like using this yarn. It looks a bit stiffer compared to the XL version. The color schemes are the same for all weights, but I'm having a hard time finding something that matches this yarn. For the project I have in mind, this yarn is too good. If you need an XL version of this yarn, order it directly. All in all this is a nice yarn but I don't think I'll be reordering this collection as it's too good for the projects I do that usually call for gym wear, dk or worsted yarn. . This is a wonderful yarn for summer/spring projects and openwork.
