Review on 🔧 Stanley Hand Tools 89-818 Quick Release Ratchet, 3/8" Drive, 8" Length - Enhanced for SEO by Justin Woolley

There are a million nameless brands on Amazon but I bought this one thinking Stanley would be better quality. The tool stopped working the first day I used it. The problem was that when using the ratchet, the direction changed by itself without flipping the lever. This was incredibly frustrating as I was doing a complicated starter replacement and it was the only ratchet I had. I would do 3-4 punches to him before he turns around. I had things to do and finish, but this was the first and last time I used it. Really disappointing and surprising. The ergonomics are really good and the tool is comfortable and looks good. just out of service. Most likely I just got a bad one. Hope no one has had this problem before.
