Not for cups! in the kitchen and dining room

Well, what can I say? Was I a fool for buying this car? I read positive reviews about this device and bought it when my old device broke. What they do NOT tell you is that you have to place a tiny, dainty mocha cup or maybe a little Miss Tabitha Teacup toy teacup under the nozzle for it to fit. Believe me. anything higher than a small cup or a wide tea/coffee cup will not fit! I'm using a mug and it didn't fit the nozzle/spout/(insert different adjective here). I disassembled the base to fit and placed the mug directly on the countertop, but the bottom of the disposable tank is sticking out at the bottom so your mug can't sit flush against the machine. This means that the coffee barely hits the cup when poured, right on the rim. Not that it's a violation of an agreement that kills the whole world, but something to remember. If you've ever wondered what a didgeridoo sounds like, BUY this item! I'm telling you, it sounds like making coffee! A better option for larger cups/mugs is a must have for any machine like this. The capsule adjustment knob works fine, but one day it came back. raised again while making coffee, apparently I had to double-check that it was properly attached. It seems to pour and pierce the pods evenly and I love the fact that I just have to safely drop the pod to get it where it's supposed to go. My old device required dangerous surgery every time I fell into the pod - sometimes it fell straight into the mill tank, other times I stuck my finger down the barrel of the pod and almost completely broke it (I know that's an exaggeration, but I can) Nothing can be done, I am Australian). The water tank itself just sits loosely on a rubber grommet, dammit, and wobbles when it moves. It doesn't look reliable, but it's not leaking yet. I found 2 tiny plastic hooks that attach the tank to the unit. The problem is that they are on the lid. Each time you open the lid, the hooks retract. All in all, this is a great gadget for your next Miss Tabitha tea party, but if you really want to fill an actual cup of coffee, look elsewhere.
