Review on 🔳 KREG KMA3220 Shelf Pin Jig with 5mm Pin Size by Cristofer Cejudo

This tool makes drilling stud holes fast and accurate. BUT . There are a few things not mentioned in the guide that you should consider when using it. Attaching the retaining ring to the drill is easy enough using the mold on the bottom of the jig. I did this and tightened the set screw (UK: set screw) and then did a test on a piece of scrap metal. Everything worked fine. I then proceeded to use the jig on a small cabinet I was building (1/2" thick side panels). Half way through the second side I realized I could see everything through the holes! Looking up It was clear to both sides that everything started well, but I could see progress as the retaining ring gradually shifted up So: TIGHTEN THE SET SCREW PROPERLY After creating the new side rails, I did just that and it worked .that there were more holes in the holes than I would have liked.Not to the point where I couldn't fix it but it required some extra work.So I did a test by applying blue carpenter's tape so after assembling the case I noticed that fitting the 5mm lugs takes some effort especially if I wanted to get it all the way in. I did another test.After I Once all the holes were drilled, I stuck an index pin into each hole and the wig flipped it over (without much effort). This made it much easier to insert the pins into the holes without making them too loose. So this will also become standard practice for me when using the device in the future. With these changes I find the jig works great and makes it MUCH easier and quicker to use adjustable drawer shelves.
