Probably great for working with warm or slightly hot materials. Definitely not for continuous TIG welding. I had high hopes for these gloves and thought they would be a game changer in TIG welding. I was very disappointed. At 125 amps on steel, you'll feel the burn after a few inches. If you rev up to around 200A, you can't stand the heat with your hands. (I think I got burned) I went back to my old pigskin/sheepskin gloves and immediately felt better. Great concept but not very good for real TIG welding. Maybe great for jewelry and soda can welding.
