They do the job

Glad to have them as a starter kit with my goal of working on big personal projects someday. I only sued them in worsted (size 4). It's definitely an "I'm a bastard what you pay for" type of purchase. At first I was a bit concerned that they might break because the wire was very stiff. But they serve me well while I hone my new skills. My own observations: - These guys came in a plain white box (just a sticker with a barcode and where it was made) with a zipped pouch with the needles rolled up. It's a bit of a hassle to get them back, but they serve well for storage. I like the clinging sound they make haha they aren't labeled, I was lucky I bought a sewing kit that included a needle gauge so that wasn't a problem for me. Be sure to check one of these with your order if you don't already have one. - During use, I can notice a small snag where the needle ends and the wire begins. So far it has not affected my projects. I see that for some this is the deciding factor. Not sure how long they will last, I'm not noticing any wear at the moment but already had lower expectations. These needles are clearly not of the highest quality, which is to be expected given the price. It wouldn't surprise me if the wire were to break at the connection point at some point in the middle of the project. Just don't hang super heavy things on it I guess. These suction cups are slippery. I was specifically looking for this, but I can imagine it's a pain for some. I really believe in it. Very thin film on the wire. The wire likes to stay in the twisted shape it was stored in and isn't very flexible, which is annoying at times, but I've learned to work with it. However, I'm not worried about it breaking. I squeezed them a bit when I had to resort to the magic loop technique, the wire springs back and there is no crease. In general I like them.
