I liked it at first until I used it. I have noticed that the tips of the needles are not always sharp, some are sharp, some are not, some have different sized tips on each end. For example, in the photo, 8mm is sharper than 5.5mm. Just used 5.5mm for the first time, overlaid and the connection to the cable was not smooth. The yarn caught, and then the cable came out and broke. The finishes are different too, some are smoother and shinier than others.

I bought these yesterday because I had enough bamboo circular needles to knit a sweater with. This package arrived so quickly that I immediately switched to the 2.75mm size I needed. The length of the needle is very long and the connection between the needle and the cord is so smooth that the yarn can move back and forth freely. Glad to have them as a starter kit with my goal of working on big personal projects someday. I only sued them in worsted (size 4). It's definitely an "I'm a bastard what you pay for" type of purchase. At first I was a bit concerned that they might break because the wire was very stiff. But they serve me well while I hone my new skills. My own observations: - These guys came in a plain white box (just a sticker with a barcode and where it was made) with a zipped pouch with the needles rolled up.
