The part was defective in ignition parts
This part was defective and did not work at all. My car performed much worse with this part than the original. I checked the connections and made sure I installed it correctly. After a few short test rides I put the original spool back in and it worked much better, although there was still a slight error. I ended up ordering another coil directly from Subaru which solved the problem.
