Review on Silver Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 25mm F1.8 Lens for Micro Four Thirds Cameras by Bill Pulakanam

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly fast and comfortable running lens

A 50mm lens is always the first lens I pick up when I buy a new camera because I'm a portrait photographer. It wasn't until I set 50mm to full frame that I fell even more in love with her. I recently ditched my DSLR in favor of a mirrorless one. I have among others an XT-1 with amazing 56mm f/1.2. With the XT-1, the actual field of view is 80mm, which is what I'm used to. Then I needed a backup camera and was able to buy an Olympus EM5 MKII and this 25mm lens. Wow! I shouldn't have been so surprised, but I'm just used to the shortened focal length of 50mm. I don't see any other lens on my EM5. A great focal length and the size of this M43 is perfect for street photography. And I agree with every other review that the focus speed is super fast.
