The GM/Delco over-complication catches the eye again
I have a 1996 GM car and bought the wrong cable (this one) first. This is for NEW vehicles but the required adaptation bracket has been discontinued. Makes absolutely no sense, had to dig deeper and pay more for an OLD cable. I'm sure this product works fine but I've had several of these vehicles from 1996-1998 and none of them came with this cable so I'm not sure what replaces it. Buyers beware, you may need a cable part number ending in 733420 instead. But I guess engineers don't think like mechanics, no wonder I'm always told to buy a Toyota.
