Pro:__________β’ Large button design with rubber coating for excellent grip. It is designed to be used whenever your hands get dirty. Very impressive grip position. β’ Lightweight, even a child can easily hold it. β’ For basic use, this is self-explanatory. I was able to figure out the layout of the keys in 5 minutes. β’ Each button's size and texture helps you remember what each button does without looking at it. β’ The screen is big enough to give you the full spectrum of what you see β’ My eyes didn't itch when I looked at the screen. This is important as a screen that covers your eyes is never the best. But after several attempts it was no problem. β’ Great zoom feature as it zooms in 4x from where you are. I found the image quality sharp and accurate at full zoom.β’ With night vision, you can use it while looking out of any window shape (more on night vision later). There are issues with other night vision goggles that cause reflective errors when looking through a lens. I am happy to report that this is not one of them. β’ Connecting to their app was quick and painless. I think this app layout is great for those who want others to see what you see (so everyone can see you notice Bigfoot). β’ Thanks to the app and the included 32 GB memory card, you no longer have to change your binoculars. to your phone. Definitely a great toy for family outings β’ 6 hours on a single charge. That means 2-3 days of battery life since you won't be using it all the time. β’ Nice carry case included. Little extra tools really make a big difference in the long run. Cons/Pros: __________β’ Poor packaging when I received it. There was no seal, a 32GB memory card was at the bottom of the box, and a protective cover for it was nearby. β’ There is no battery. You need to insert 6 AA batteries (which are not included) and battery life will be greatly reduced when using it with the app. β’ The screen resolution is not HD. When enlarged, the image becomes grainy. It's still visible, but don't expect the picture quality you see on modern phones. β’ If the batteries are dead, you cannot use it. You just see a blank screen β’ Not waterproof. It's really a shame for such Googlers. β’ The design is bulky and takes up a lot of space in your backpack/luggage. β’ No auto focus when zooming in. β’ Motion focus is not very good. It takes a few seconds for these glasses to catch up with fast movement of an object β’ I found the instruction manual poorly written. It will give you basic information about the device, but for more detailed questions (LED brightness, resolution, etc.) you'll have to dig around to find those answers. β’ This is not traditional night vision, it is infrared. It's a bug because it's infrared. If you use them, any light reflecting off a shiny piece of metal or similar will blur your image (number plates, street signs, etc.). β’ You must use a rubber separator between you and the screen. You can't move the screen directly to your face because of this rubber divider. Because of this, the light will come out from both sides. I had to tie my hands around this area to block out the light. β’ Note that due to the rubber release issue, the screen is adequately lit when you are viewing. This means that at night everyone around will notice a bright light around your face (maybe not the best option if you plan on running top secret missions). Conclusion: __________ You get a device that is significantly cheaper than normal "night vision goggles". So I have to give the device a 4 star layout because while they are by no means perfect, their value is a good bargain. Bright screen, good zoom, ability to record what you see, and pretty decent infrared night vision. However, it is important to note the limitations of the device. Not a fan of the battery system, the screen is a small non-HD layout and in general the picture from the resolution itself is not high enough to want to take a picture. Also, I mentioned above that these are not binoculars. If your batteries are dead, this device is useless. After all, it's either for newbies looking to get started using night vision (without paying thousands of dollars), or a thoughtful gift for those who love the great outdoors (without paying thousands of dollars). All in all: a device that combines binoculars and a camera without having to pay a lot of money. Just remember to keep extra batteries. I hope I helped you. With love, honest reviewer.
