These are quality filters for GM Ecotec engines. I use it on my 2.2 L61 Ecotec which has over 230,000 miles on it. I usually do 5000 mile intervals and am always amazed at how well the plates hold up. I wish there was an o-ring for the filter cap, but they don't cost that much more (I would also recommend ACDelco for them) and they usually stand up to multiple oil changes (I try to replace them on every other oil change). ).
