ACDelco PF457G: Discover the Optimal Engine Oil Filter for GM Original Equipment Review

They were on sale and I was very happy to get a good discount. However, I usually get a new O-ring with the filter. However, AC Delco saved money and didn't provide me with an O-ring. It's not a sale if you charge less and deliver less. It's just a poor quality product.

These are quality filters for GM Ecotec engines. I use it on my 2.2 L61 Ecotec which has over 230,000 miles on it. I usually do 5000 mile intervals and am always amazed at how well the plates hold up. I wish there was an o-ring for the filter cap, but they don't cost that much more (I would also recommend ACDelco for them) and they usually stand up to multiple oil changes (I try to replace them on every other oil change). ).

As always, ACDelco has great products. The last time I used a K&N filter on my wife's Cobalt SS it was no different than using an ACDelco brand filter. they last about the same time. Good price for a good filter - OEM specs. Unlike some filter brands I've replaced, this one didn't come out warped and distorted (not that that's necessarily a good or bad thing). Many aftermarket filters come with an o-ring, this filter did NOT come with an o-ring which I don't want or need.
