Use them (with sun hats) for sun protection, don't give your kids TOXIC chemicals! Fits my little 7 year old frame. Excellent. However, it will grow out above the ground. The bottom covers his knees when he's standing and does a good job of protecting him from the sun when he's out of the water. The top fits like any rashguard/swim shirt. Tops that are too loose are DANGEROUS and ineffective for swimming (bottoms mostly just stay pressed against the skin, but the flexible sleeved arms move forward to create a "parachute" effect during the stroke), hence I am joyful, that the designer has chosen the size use in the water. .
